We are going through growing pains (the good kind), so we figured we should expand our team.
Our newest member is Christos Dokos, an integrated, overlapping, nexus-plexus, 360ο communications guy. He’s been here for a few days already and has undertaken the task of doing the “dirty job” of expanding our horizons to newer… more social pastures.
We wanted to call him Growth Officer (or something like that) but he insisted that what we do is above all helping create and grow human relations. Thus, we got our own Digital Relations Curator, aiming to ignite human contacts through emerging technologies and ideas.
Christos comes to us with some heavy duty work under his belt, for multinational agencies like Leo Burnett and McCann Worldgroup Hellas. Besides gaining valuable experience there, he got some pretty awesome awards, but he won’t let us tell you because he doesn’t want to kiss and tell.
“It was his [look it up, it’s a great word] polypragmasy (account management, corporate communications director, learning officer & digital marketing director), his creativity, flexibility and taste in shoes that got us,” said Manos Paterakis, re|director of accounts in re|direct. “And it seems that he fit right in, because he hasn’t been here for more than a month and the mac we gave him already caught on fire…”
Apologizing, Christos replied that “the mac was not ready for his momentum, passion and zest for work…” Definitely a communications guy!
Christos studied marketing & advertising at the University of Delaware, USA, with a minor in Italian Neorealism, and editorial design at the School of Visual Arts, New York, sporadically picking Milton Glazer’s brain.
You’ll find him easily in all major social networks, experience his swing dancing alter ego as dokodokodeska in Myspace and hear his radio stories at radio bubble, under the name doox.
