A facebook application was developed to promote the special sales offer for the new school season at McArthurglen Designer Outlet Athens.
With the concept 'Back to School, Step forward into Fashion" the user had the chance to win a €300 voucher for shopping at the McArthurGlen Athens Outlet by adding shopping categories (4 out of 10) into a school bag.
The virality of the application was enhanced by giving the user the chance to invite friends and add more categories into the bag which evidently increased the voucher amount up to €600. Each friend unlocked an extra shopping category that could be placed into the bag and add an extra amount of €50 to the voucher.
The campaign had an amazing response from the users with an outstanding 72% increase in page 'likes' and over 4.000 registrations in just 10 days.
